Bluebird Victory Garden has veggies like an ever-flowing spring ready for community.The harvest is bountiful at the Bluebird Garden and if you signed up for a box of community garden veggies we will be contacting you soon.

Families are coming by the Bluebird Market to pickup veggies now ready from the community garden.  If you signed up at Taste of Thomaston, you may call us at 1-404-300-9519 or email:  bluebirdmarket@live.com

We are so fortunate that our organic practices garden is now producing beautiful garden veggies like an ever-flowing spring.  We are sharing the harvest with over 40 local families that signed up for free veggies at Taste of Thomaston.  Other families and 4-H club participated in our Adopt-a-Row program and have herbs and veggies ready for harvesting.

Lovely rows of fall organic veggies are now planted and growing in the Bluebird Victory Garden.  We invite anyone in the community to Adopt-a-Row as the Fall Season is getting underway in our Southeastern Region. Live green organic vegetables include Purple Top Turnips, Collards, Kale, Leeks, Green Onions, Garlic, Edible Snow Pea Pods, Brussel Sprouts, Cauliflower, Parat Giant German Radishes, and Sweet Potatoes.

Herbs are thriving and growing in several boxes and local growers have a wide variety including fragrant lemongrass, thyme, basil, Stevia, mints, parsleys, and more.

We invite you to join us in the community garden this fall at Bluebird.

Bluebird Garden

Like an ever-flowing stream, we are harvesting baskets of tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, red sweet peppers, radishes (2 varieties), yellow squash, cucumbers, jalepeno peppers, basil, Stevia, green onion, mint, parsley, garlic and more.

Vegetables are being shared with the community.  Over 40 people signed up for vegetable boxes at Taste of Thomaston.

Local buyers like these have stated they will buy local at the Bluebird Market:   Tasty Shoppe, Jingers Showcase, La Fiesta, Big “C” Drugs, Fish Peddlar, Butcher Block and many more.

Local artisans and growers like these have stated they will be at the Market  with locally grown and handmade products:  Newman Farms, Mr. York from Cook’s Market,  Lone Daisy Studio,  Blazing Kitchens, Seamstress Marsha Brown, Gwen & Cathy’s, Holland Farms, Elliott Farms, Sabrina Hay’s Organics, Gardenade, John Hall, Cathy’s, McDonald Farms, McCrary Farms, Doug Justice and Jimmy Price, Mommie’s Baked Goods, Sweet Memories, The James Family Farm,  Miss Annette’s Puppets, Kneadful Things, First Fruits, Cotton Bud and more.

Organic, locally grown and handmade products will be at the Bluebird Market.
